Los Cabos has no shortage of golf options, and it will soon be even better for there are a few new projects to add to the already rich menu of golf options in the zone. So there are at least 3 new golf courses to be built in the near future in Cabo:
Starting with the Baja Bay Club, a new 2,400 acres development located in the East Cape. The design will be in charge of David McLay Kidd of DMK Golf Designs and it will be an 18-holed links-style golf course with a short course and practice facility.
There is also the OLEADA project who's hired Ernie Els to build their golf course. An 18-hole course in the 860-acre oceanfront resort community called OLEADA Pacific Living. This develpment is located next to the Diamante golf course and Rancho San Lucas and not far from the Quivira golf course. Making the pacific side of Cabo San Lucas a golfers dream in terms of options. This golf course is planned to open in 2026
There is also the Legacy Course, the second on by Tiger Woods in Diamante which is being built as of this moment. It will be an 18 hole course. The golf course’s strategy will be similar to that at El Cardonal, where players are presented with options to navigate a route from tee to green.
